PSYCHOLOGY COURSES TAKEN ON A CREDIT BASIS
MAY NOT BE APPLIED TO THE MAJOR
IN EFFECT AS OF JANUARY, 1998
The CREDIT option should not be used for students majoring in Psychology except under special circumstances, such as the student plans to discontinue Psychology as her or his major; the student prefers a grade of "No Credit" to a "D" or "F;" the student plands to take another Psychology course to substitute in the fultillment of the Major Requirements.

A Credit (CR) in PSYCH 248 (Statistical Methods in Psychology) or in PSYCH 249/250 (experimental Psychology) will make it impossible for the student to complete the requirements for the Psychology Major at Hunter --courses in which you receive this grade cannot be taken over or transferred from another college.  Therefore, if you opt for "CR" in PSYCH 248, 249 or 250 (after 12/97), you may no longer major in Psychology.

A grade of "No Credit" (NC), "D" or  "F" can be replaced by a letter grade if the course is retaken according to the guidelines specified by the College (See College Catalog for Repeat Rules).
