Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to matriculated students in the form of grants, loans (subsidized and unsubsidized), and work-study. Grants provide funds that do not have to be repaid. Loans must be repaid in regular installments over a prescribed period of time. Work-study consists of part-time employment, either on campus or in an outside agency. Prospective students should consult with the Office of Financial Aid for more information. The first step in the financial aid application process is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In addition to college-wide financial aid programs, the department offers a limited amount of financial aid. This includes the Donald G. Sullivan Scholarship, the Robert C. Weaver Scholarship, the James Felt Scholarship, the Hans Spiegel Scholarship and the Marilyn and Herbert Hyman Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded to selected students pursuing a master's degree in either program. For more information, contact the department.
