The Hunter Urban Alumni (HUA) is the official Alumni Association of the Hunter College Department of Urban Affairs and Planning. It was created in 2007 to strengthen the position of and development possibilities for Hunter graduates throughout the Planning and Public Administrative fields - within, and beyond, the New York City Metro Region.
To achieve this, HUA's primary goals are to help reconnect graduates with old friends, colleagues, and professors; forge new networks for our continuing professional development; and advance the department that prepared us for our career success.
By reuniting old ties, promoting new ones, and building on Hunter's distinction as the wellspring for New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut's planning and administrative fields, every graduate benefits.
We hope that you will join us in our efforts to create a stronger Hunter network within the public administration and planning fields, to give back to the department that nurtured our skills and thought processes, and to strengthen our impact on and within the fields we work in and beyond New York City.
