Effects of social identity on health and academic achievement; Effects of race, gender, and immigration on stress, psychological adjustment, substance use and abuse.

I will be starting new research studies on psychosocial predictors of substance abuse this summer and fall. Data will be collected primarily via paper or web-based surveys at Hunter College. Research Assistant positions are available to well qualified students.

I anticipate hiring a Part-time Research Assistant to work about 8-10 hours per week ($10-12 hr) from September through May. Advanced UG or MA students preferred. Must be eligible to work 10 hours per week for the for the CUNY Research Foundation.
