This
page contains a summary of the current state of the National
Institute of Mental Health - Career Opportunities in Research
Education and Training (NIMH-COR) Program at Hunter College.
Because the NIMH-COR Program is continually evolving and
changing, this page will also change. We invite the reader to
make comments and suggestions, especially those that might serve
to improve the NIMH-COR Program at Hunter.
The text in this page was adapted by Professor Gerald Turkewitz from a prior edition of the NIMH-COR Program Handbook developed by Dean Judith Friedlander from materials put together by Professor Gordon Barr, which in turn was based on materials written by Professor Stanley Novak, the original Director of the NIMH-COR Program. It was refined by editorial comments from the 1991-1992 NIMH-COR Program Steering Committee, including Professor Darlene DeFour, Josh DeWind, Charles Green, and Michael Wood, and the 1991-1992 class of NIMH-COR Program students. The page itself was edited, designed, and programmed by Pilar M. Sanjuan, a 1994-1996 NIMH-COR Program Scholar.
