Instructors may set or remove a password which limits access to a course page. This can be done when a page is created, or at any time afterwards.

Setting a password for an existing course

To set a password for an existing course page, first log in to the Course page functions screen using the "All page functions" option on the course page. Then:

Click on the Change course info button.
Type the password in the first box, labeled "The course password." Any combination of alphanumeric characters can be used; the password is case sensitive.
Click on Change Parameters button on the bottom of the screen.

Deleting a password

To delete the password, follow the steps above, but delete the text in the password box.
