

Hofstadir Field Course 2000 The Field Course 2000 will be based at the excavation of Hofstadir, an early Viking settlement at Myvatn in NE-Iceland. This is a joint project of The Institute of Archaeology, Iceland and NABO. The course involves a combination of training in the field, lectures and optional essay work. Teaching will be held at the Institute's research center at Hofstadir and students will participage in the excavation and environmental research at and around the site.
