Ruth Maher - Archaeological Fieldwork in Iceland






Ruth Maher is using GIS to study Viking burial and settlement patterns on various islands in the North Atlantic. The image was taken while surveying during the summer of 2001 and shows 19th century remains of an old farmhouse in the Southern part of Iceland on the modern farm of Húsagarður.
